Busy Spring, 2015

Spring has been quite busy for us, several weeks now. And this, in spite of the amount of rain that preceded these sunny days. While there were difficulties with suppliers in Tennessee for a while due to even more rain they received on the heels of their last frosts, things have mostly returned to normal for this time of year. We hope you’re enjoying the colors where you live, but if you don’t have enough, come on by!!

Gulf States Expo, 2015

Fred managed to slip away to the  Gulf States Horticultural Expo in Mobile in January. We started hearing and seeing some of what he discovered the following week; there are always new plant varieties, sources for those materials, best pricing, keeping up with who’s growing what this year, and more. Looking forward to all of this!

Winter Color – December 2014

Well, just for fun, I thought it would be great to see just how much color there might be around here, now that we’re actually into Winter. So, December 24th, I walked around the grounds here with a cell phone camera in hand. Enjoy!

During this fall season we’ve noticed the same increase in business, that we do every year about this time. If you have been putting off upgrades to your front or back yards, this can be your reminder to get started planting. As you may already know, fall and winter are the prime transplanting seasons for most trees and other plants.
